Volunteering is your opportunity to be part the lasting
legacy of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. We
offer you the chance to work with a diverse range of people from
all walks of life, gain empowerment as you learn and utilise new
skills, build your self confidence, achieve personal goals and gain
once in a lifetime experiences.
The 2012 Games will need 70,000 volunteer participants, including
recruitment from within the Newham's Volunteers programme. More
than 900 volunteers have participated in over 350 events in Newham,
London and across the country since 2004 and there are currently
more than 1000 inducted volunteers who are part of the
scheme. |
